Writer-director Korinna Avraamidou's sweeping Greek drama is a tale of romantic and familial entanglements set against the turbulent backdrop of Turkey's invasion of Cyprus. When young couple Alexandra (Maria Kitsou) and Orestes (Hristodoulos Martas) travel from Greece to Cyprus to visit Orestes's family in the summer of 1974, they find themselves embroiled in upheavals both personal and political as Alexandra becomes attracted to Orestes's brother, Stefanos (Christopher Grecor), while tensions escalate between the island's Greek and Turkish populations.
